I Surrender

Proverbs 3:5-6
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognise, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Isaiah 26:3-4
You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

Today I decided to do something a little different from my regular posts which was to add songs that  pretty much say how I feel or at least where I am at right now. When I read passages such as the ones above, it causes me to re-evaluate whether or not my actions throughout the past weeks or months prove that I truly trust God with ALL  my heart and mind. It also stirs within me the desire want to know God and trust Him more. Singing worship songs such as the one below helps me to put into words what I’d like to say or in this case sing to God, when I don’t really know what to say in prayer.
